Actually I had heard about this last year when they first began issuing weapons. CNN did a series of reports on this and the crap in Iraq. They even reported the names of US soldiers who were caught selling rifles in Iraq. icon_rolleyes

The Taliban will never wear uniforms because then they could be identified at range (See Better 'Ole posting...) Unless you're alluding to our uniforms being provided to them in which case that would fit perfectly into their camo plan.

Ref uniforms, I was referring to the ones that you can buy on th balck market and wear as a disguise. Ie ANA and ANP inflitrating into towns, etc... I don't think that they have graduated to our uniforms, yet... But you you never know.

Can't trust anyone these days... at least the smell will give them away if they try to wear our kit.
